Yet another shiny Nimbus boat on it's way to Scotland

More and more people are finding that a Nimbus is the perfect boat for the Scottish climate and waters. The extended canopy with the side and rear windows that can be opened individually, be it for ventilation or protection from the elements, means the whole boat can be used in any weather. Nimbus Beer !

Offshore Powerboats were delighted to welcome to Lymington today, a very gentlemanly Swed called Henrik Moberger.

Henrik is gathering information for the next issue of the Nimbus World magazine due to be issued in early 2007. Nimbus in Sweden have certainly been doing their homework and discovered a brewery in Cawdor, Nairn, Scotland called Sinclair Breweries that has a beer called Nimbus Blonde. A cheeky little number of 5.0% vol brewed in small batches from the purest highland water.

We asked Chris Harridge, as a connoisseur of fine beers, his opinion of Nimbus Blonde "a rich, rewarding, hoppy beer that must take it's inspiration from the pale beers of France, Belgium and Germany, a great beer with food or on it's own". Well, we were all very impressed with this until he confessed he had read it off the label!
